2. Website delivery and hosting
This website is hosted by checkdomain GmbH, Große Burgstraße 27/29, 23552 Lübeck, Germany. When you visit the website, technical access data may be processed, including your IP address, date and time of access, requested pages and files, amount of data transferred, HTTP status messages, browser, operating system and, where provided, the referring page.
These data are processed to deliver the website, ensure technical security, troubleshoot errors and prevent misuse. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operating a secure and functional website).
According to the hosting provider, access and error logs are deleted after no more than 14 days. Where technically possible and appropriate, IP addresses are anonymised after 24 hours. More information: checkdomain's information about server logs.
3. Contact by email or telephone
If you contact us, we process the details you provide (such as your name, contact address and message) to respond and, where applicable, discuss potential cooperation. For contractual or pre-contractual enquiries, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; for other enquiries, it is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding).
The information is deleted when it is no longer needed for the purpose, unless statutory retention duties or legitimate grounds require further storage. Email correspondence is technically processed by the email service providers used.
4. Contact form
You may send an enquiry via the contact form. We process your name, email address, optional company, selected topic and message to handle and respond to your enquiry. The information is forwarded to our business email mailbox and is not stored in a publicly accessible database. To limit automated submissions, the server converts your IP address into a hash and stores submission-attempt timestamps in temporary files. Submission attempts within the preceding 15 minutes are counted for rate limiting. On subsequent form requests, files last modified more than 30 minutes ago are cleaned up. Files may remain longer if no further requests occur. Legal bases for enquiries are Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual enquiries and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for other enquiries; the abuse prevention measures are based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
5. Cookies, analytics and external links
Based on the current technical setup, this website does not use analytics or advertising trackers, or cookies or local-storage entries to recognise visitors. Tests of the home and contact pages found no cookies stored for office-dev.de. Changes to the technical setup may require another review. The website links to external services such as LinkedIn. The respective provider's privacy information applies when you follow such a link. No LinkedIn plugin is currently embedded.
6. Recipients and transfers
Technical service providers are used for hosting and email, in particular checkdomain. Information is otherwise disclosed only where required for handling an enquiry, complying with a legal obligation or on another lawful basis. The website does not use services designed to transfer visitor data to tracking or analytics providers outside Europe.
7. Your rights
Subject to the applicable requirements, you have rights of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to certain processing (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent, where given, at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
To exercise your rights, please use the contact details above.
8. Your right to object under Article 21 GDPR
You have the right, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to object at any time to the processing of your personal data where the processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests). This applies in particular to technical access data processed to protect the website and to the handling of enquiries where based on legitimate interests.
Following an objection, we will generally no longer process the personal data concerned unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds overriding your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
You may object informally at any time by emailing info@office-dev.de.
